THE FOLLOWERS OF HORUS
The Followers of Horus has been created to follow the original Ancient
Egyptian teachings of enlightenment which is known as The Coming Forth
by Day. The original and real teachings of Ancient Egypt are practiced
and teaching and membership is open to all.
After almost
40 years of work it has
been decided to recreate in the
current age the original and genuine ancient Egyptian Wisdom Teachings
of the Coming Forth by Day. The sources of the teachings of the
Egyptian Enlightenment are from a number of 'books'. The pyramid
and coffin texts from the walls of pyramids and coffins and the so
called Book of the Dead which were scrolls placed in coffins. Any
temple
texts we can get our hands on in reasonable tranlationare used. Also
we use the books of hours and the opening of the mouth ceremonies.
We call The Book of the Dead The Book of the Coming forth by Day, its
original title. It is a step by step guide to the attainment of superb
states of happiness and perfection in this life and lives to come.
These teachings are intuitive not canonical and have many hidden and
deeper meaings but within this tradition straightforwardness is always
an essential feature.

The
Ancient Egyptians invented the
Tarot. The 2 pictures show numbers 9 and 11 of the minor arkana, called
the Aats of the khus or perfected spirits. Key teachings are missing in
the current Tarot decks. We have restored them.
